About

Keri Pinzon fell in love with photography while studying fine art at the Evergreen State College.  She was especially influenced by the paintings of Alice Neel, and photography of Sally Mann.  After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree, Keri moved to New York City where she interned for portrait photographer Mary Ellen Mark and took classes at the International Center for Photography.  She spent 3 years working as an assistant for some of New York’s top portrait and documentary photographers.  On returning to Seattle, Keri began her own freelance career photographing for magazines such as Sunset, People, Lucky, Organic Gardening, Budget Travel, Parents Magazine and others.  She has been photographing children since she first picked up a camera 15 years ago.  She lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband and two sons.
